Rawhiti Cave Walk

A challenging hike to a unique stalactite-covered cave entrance.

The track climbs steeply over rough ground, making this a poor choice for casual footwear or a rushed schedule. Go in dry conditions when possible and carry water, as the effort is concentrated on the ascent. The formed route is about viewing the dramatic cave entrance, so follow all signs and do not disturb the fragile formations.
