This is a self-guided trail of studios rather than one venue, so select a few makers and plan a realistic driving route around the bay. Studio hours can be seasonal or by appointment, and checking before setting out avoids a closed-door visit. The trail works well between beach days, with clusters of stops around Takaka and the road toward Collingwood.
